5W USB Adapter for Personal Electronics

Phihong USA introduced a new, low cost, 5W, fixed blade, USB power adapter for personal electronics.  Designated the PSA05A, the new USB wall plug adapter is compliant with North American input voltages and has a Level V efficiency compliant output of 5VDC and 1A, which is ideal for charging lithium-ion batteries in small devices with touch screens, including smartphones, tablets, e-readers, GPS and media players.

Phihong's new 5W USB charger is equipped with over-voltage protection, over-current protection and short-circuit protection and has a no-load power draw of less than 0.03W. In addition to Level V efficiency compliance, the wall plug also features a 5-Star standby power rating, as well as safety approvals from UL and cUL.

The PSA05A USB adapter measures 2.29" x 1.69" x 0.83" and weighs 3oz.
