RFID Transponder Coils Provide Wide read Range

Aug. 1, 2001

With extended coil length that allows longer read ranges and higher Q, the 4308TC series transponder coils are designed for radio frequency identification (RFID) applications at 125 kHz. Sporting a rugged, ferrite-laminated-to -ceramic base design, the coils measure 11.8 mm x 3.6 mm x 3.1 mm. With 11 models in the series, inductance values range from 0.4 mH to 8.1 mH and the company can provide different values for frequencies other than 125 kHz. Price is $0.45 each/10,000.
