Wide Body Fans Deliver 190 CFM From 5" Frames

A new series of 127-mm brushless dc cooling fans is designed to provide the air flow and performance-at-pressure of large format 170-mm units. Fans in the WideBody TA500DC series can supply 190 cfm from 2-inch-wide housings and operate at static pressure of up to 0.68 inwg. The 5" x 2" fans have an operating voltage of 12V, 24V or 48V. Premium performance models in the series offer 3:1 operating voltage ranges and constant fan speed over broad segments of those supply ranges. And speed-stable operation is said to eliminate the need to over-specify fan capacity to adequately cool critical components under conditions of fluctuating supply voltage.
Standard features include reverse polarity protection, permanently lubricated ball bearings, sound-absorbing thermoplastic frames, and UL94V-0 rated impellers, color-code 12" leads, and an operating temperature range of -10°C to 70°C. Built-in interactive control is available across the series. And price is from $25.10 each/1,000.
