Power Connector Offers True Hot Pluggability

Expanding the company's Drawer line of hot-plug, blind-mate power connectors, this new connector offers eight, true hot-plug contacts capable of power interruption under load with a contact rating of 35A at a maximum of 600V. Users have the ability to tailor the base-pin and socket housing to suit their specific applications.
Options include mating and mounting polarization built into the housings, reinforced socket towers, and a socket insulator that can be float mounted. Depending on volume, price is from $4 for a mated pair without contacts.
