Avnet, which began distributing Molex Inc.'s interconnects in the United States in 1982, will now expand its distribution of Molex connectors to encompass a global customer base. Molex is said to be the first connector manufacturer to have a global relationship with a distributor. Under the agreement, Avnet will distribute Molex products through Avnet OMG, which includes Hamilton Hallmark, Time Electronics and Penstock.
