SAN Tools Are Enhanced

The SANpath 3.1 and SANscape 2.3 storage area network (SAN) management applications have been enhanced with a variety of new features. SANpath 3.1 now delivers dynamic LUN assignment, claimed to be an advanced timesaving capability that dynamically allocates and re-allocates server storage resources on the fly. Also, this application now supports Linux, HP-UX and Windows 2000. SANscape 2.3 has been more tightly integrated with SANpath 3.1 and provides users with an intuitive drag-and-drop interface. When used together, the applications are said to provide a nearly seamless SAN management environment.
