Twin-Connection Socket Block Touts Increased Flexibility

May 1, 2001

The BLDZ 3.5/6F twin-connection socket block is designed to provide increased flexibility in parallel bus wiring and power distribution applications. With T-shaped twin connections for the BL 3.5/SL 3.5, the system permits separate connection of two conductors to a single contact point. It's claimed to be the smallest twin connector that's available with screw clamp technology, eliminating the need for discrete wiring. The new unit can be applied to all standard bus systems. The BLDZ 3.5 socket block is offered in a six-pole version with 12 wire connections. It mates with SL 3.5 standard headers and is available in orange. With UL ratings of 300V, 10A, the new unit accepts wire sizes of 28 through 14 AWG and is priced at $11.55 each.
