An extremely low gate charge is a hallmark of a line of industrial-qualified 30-V, TO-220 HEXFET power MOSFETs. These MOSFETs are suited for applications such as uninterruptable power supply (UPS) inverters, low-voltage power tools, ORing applications, and power supplies for network communications and servers. These robust MOSFETs are fabricated on the company’s latest-generation Trench technology and offer very low on-state resistance (RDS(ON)) to reduce thermal dissipation. In addition, their ultra-low gate charge helps extend battery life of UPS inverters or power tools. The availability of four levels of RDS(ON) and gate charge at 30 V gives designers the flexibility to select the optimum device to match their specifications and requirements for the application. The devices feature fully characterized avalanche voltage and current and are direct replacements and upgrades to existing 30V TO-220 devices. The new devices are available immediately. Pricing ranges from $0.22 each to $0.63 each in lots of 10,000. Delivery is from stock. INTERNATIONAL RECTIFIER, El Segundo, CA. (310) 726-8000.
