Cable And Harness Tester Does Hipot

Oct. 1, 1999

Designed to meet a wide variety of testing applications, CT-3400 and CT-3600 cable and harness testers perform the most common low- and high-voltage tests typically required for cable/harness testing, backplane testing and PCB testing including hipot, insulation resistance, continuity, open/short and intermittent connection tests. Both instruments detect miswires, opens, shorts, high resistance and intermittent connections. Using advanced functions, operators can determine faulty ends and affected pins in cases where open/short conditions exist. Each instrument performs sequential-step testing, single-ended testing, auto-scan and pin search. The CT-3400 can test up to 650 vdc and comes in 128-, 256- and 512-pin versions, and the CT-3600 tests up to 1000 vdc and comes in 128- and 256-pin versions. A universal test fixture lets operators connect a variety of sub-assemblies without custom adapters. AT THE SITE: product photos, key specs, prices.
