Compact Optical Sensors Pack Snap-In Connector

Nov. 1, 2000

The EE-SPX74/84 series of optical sensors features a snap-in connector that allows for flexible installation and easy maintenance. Housed in a compact package, the device's connector is recessed and its detachable, bendable cable allows it to be used in tight spaces. Other features of the new optical sensors include pulse modulation of the transmissive beam that it said to lessen external light interference and eliminate erroneous readings. The new sensors are available in slot widths of either 3.6 mm or 5 mm. Prices start at $59.27 for the sensors and $4.11 for the connector.
