DIMM Sockets Support DDR RAM

Feb. 1, 2000

The DDR DIMM sockets support double data rate (DDR) RAM modules and feature dual latches that make it easier to insert and remove modules. A pre-alignment feature minimizes misalignment and terminal stubbing. The 184-circuit DDR DIMM socket has the same physical profile as the 168-circuit standard and the 200-circuit DDR DIMM has the same profile as the 200-circuit standard.
