Flex Cable Connectors Serve Common Apps

Developed for off-the-shelf delivery and suitable for use in a wide variety of common applications, this new line of Flex Cable Interfaces and standard Flex Cable Jumpers are available in both vertical and horizontal designs with solder weld tabs provided for increased mechanical strength in horizontal applications. Flex Cable sockets (FC1 Series) will mate with flat flex cable (FFC) and flexible printed circuits (FPC) as well as the company's FJ Series of flex cable jumpers. From five through 25 I/Os on 1-mm pitch are available. Off-the-shelf jumpers can be easily customized with circuit wiring configurations to meet specific customer needs with quick turn-around times and low tooling costs. Pricing starts at $0.15 to $0.20 per mated line.
