Cable Ties Eliminate Protruding Cutoffs

April 1, 2001

Used in communication cable management applications, the Belt-Ty in-line cable ties have a parallel head design that virtually eliminates problems associated with protruding cutoffs. Besides protecting workers and cable, the Belt-Ty design makes installation easy and reduces snags. The low-profile head is 35% lower than those found on conventional 90° entry cable ties. Rounded edges on the ties' head and strap help prevent cable abrasion and the entry tip is rounded and curved for fast, easy threading. The finger-grip shape of the ties’ head further enhances ease of use by giving installers a positive grip while threading. Constructed of durable nylon, they come in miniature, intermediate, standard and light heavy cross section versions and in a variety of lengths and bundle capacities.
