I/O Card Interface Connectors Are Shielded

Oct. 1, 1999

Designed for use with PCMCIA and JEIDA memory cards, the NX Series of shielded I/O-card interface connectors are available with frames and covers. They offer a low-profile mounting height of only 2.9 mm. The connectors feature a spacing of 0.8 mm between contacts and are equipped with an inner lock. Available in 9, 15, and 25 positions and meeting PCMCIA I/O requirements for 5000 mating cycles, the connectors are designed to include ESD and EMI protection and features that prevent ejection by vibration while providing smooth and accurate insertion. The devices are suited for LAN and fax/modem applications and will fit Type I and Type II I/O cards.
