Watertight Switches Hit 10 Million Cycles

July 1, 1999

Capable of up to 10 million operations, the HP7 Series of sealed contactless switches can be watertight sealed to IP68. Stylish domed-shaped pushbuttons are available in choice of nine colors. The switches require 4.5to 24 vdc at 9 mA to operate and provide output voltage of 28V maximum and continuous output current of 25 mA maximum. The entire switch is sealed against moisture and dust and can be sealed watertight per IP68. Operating temperature range is -40°C to 100°C. The rugged switch is designed to withstand harsh environments while being subjected to high rates of actuation. Applications include material handling equipment such as loaders, lift trucks, bucket and shovel.
