Users of the Seamless Co-Verification Environment tool will now be able to fully test and debug both hardware and software, including applications running on top of and interacting with Wind River Systems' VxWorks RTOS, in their embedded systems before building a prototype in silicon. By combining the strengths of the co-verification tool and Wind River System's VxSim RTOS simulator, the company hopes to boost the productivity of embedded software developers. The incorporation of VxSim into the Seamless Co-Verification session validates application software and the RTOS against embedded hardware in a virtual environment, enabling developers to detect errors early in the design cycle.
