Flash Drive Is Bootable

Featuring a built-in IDE controller, the 4M24 flash drive in a PC/104 format is bootable by and compatible with most operating systems without the need for drivers or ROMs. The device is available in 8-, 16- or 32-MB capacities. It is claimed that the NAND flash chips used on the device have a long inherent life span, which are enhanced by the controllers built into the ECC and wear leveling. The flash drive can use either the primary or secondary IDE address so that it does not interfere with existing IDE drives.
