Analog Function Modules Process Signals

June 1, 2001

This full line of DIN-rail-mountable analog function modules can operate as a front-end for computers in various types of control systems. EZ-Circuit Analog Function Modules are packaged in plastic cases that mount on a DIN rail and include PID output, a three-input summing amplifier, analog signal isolation, a master reference, RMS output, an analog divider and multiplier, power supply voltage-to-current loop converters, voltage comparators, and related devices. Combined with a SONA-TROL sonar sensor that provides ±10 Vdc, 0 to 10 Vdc, and 4 to 20 mA outputs with receiver gain adjustment and dual set points, these modules can perform a wide range of non-contact roll diameter, loop control, and level detection measurements. The modules were developed for process and machinery control system builders and are priced from $98 each.
