The components found in this device library are based on NEC Compound Semiconductor Device's hetero-junction bipolar transistors (HBTs) for use with the company's Designer and are said to represent one of the most common high-performance transistor technologies in use for low-noise, high-gain RF applications. The library includes electrical models of HBT devices, commonly used for general-purpose, high frequency device designs. It is available for download from NEC Compound Semiconductor Devices's web site listed below. For further information, call John Arnold at ANSOFT CORP., Pittsburgh, PA. (412) 261-3200.
