Modules Expand Measurement Capability

Dec. 1, 2000

Seven new switching modules are expected to provide significant throughput gains for electronic, RF and optical test systems. The 3499A/B switch family now allows test engineers to choose from 26 switching and control modules and two mainframes as they configure test systems. Customers can choose from 26 plug-in modules to switch 1310/1550 nm optical signals as well as electronic signals from DC to 26 GHz, 1 mV to 1,000V, and 1 mA to 8A. The new modules include the ultra-high-speed N2266A multiplexer module, the N2268A module designed for low insertion loss, the N2280A and N2281A optical modules, the N2267A general purpose module, and the N2269A optically-isolated, multifunction module. Pricing starts at $1,000.
