PC/104 Module Provides PCMCIA Flexibility

Nov. 1, 1999

Highly flexible and reliable integration of up to four PCMCIA slots into PC/104-based embedded systems is achieved with the MiniModule/PCC, a PC/104 form-factor module supporting two or four local or remotely-mounted PCMCIA slots in any combination. Five different configurations are available. Both the local and remote configurations provide for up to four PC Card slots per system. In the remote configuration, a 14" cable between the buffer module and the remote drive module allows flexible positioning of the PC Card slots to satisfy the layout requirements of each application's system enclosure. The module is supported by a range of operating systems.
