Data Streaming Interface Utilizes Emulation

Dec. 1, 2000

The firm's Data Streaming Interface Portal (DSIP) provides a data streaming interface between its VLE emulation system and a Sun Microsystems' host workstation enabling designers to take advantage of emulation earlier in the design cycle utilizing abstract data models without having to develop a target system. The product also delivers verification performance to verify system operation on very large data sets. DSIP consists of a PCI interface card that plugs into a Sun workstation and connects it to the VLE emulators. A data streaming software application and the TAPI library is installed to create the data streaming interface between the VLE emulator and the Sun workstation. Pricing is $35,000.
