Controllers Boast Of Multi-Tasking Operating System

Sept. 1, 1999

The AXIMA Series of multi-axis controllers allows simultaneous operation of up to eight independent coordinate motion systems, each with up to eight separate axes. Multi-tasking lets the controllers focus on particular systems and to facilitate simple, smaller tasks rather than one massive program all at the same time. AXIMA Classic is designed for standalone applications requiring up to eight axes of control, and AXIMA ISA is designed to provide power, flexibility and programming features of the Classic for users with a PC as a machine control platform. AXIMA 2000/4000 offer faster processors and twice the memory of the Classic for applications requiring up to four axes of motion.
