Power Supply Connectors Are DeviceNet Compliant

March 1, 2002

Targeting factory automation networks, the HR31 series of low-profile power supply connectors are DeviceNet compliant and are available in five positions in a 5.08-mm pitch style. Through-hole headers are available in straight and right-angle configurations with gold or silver plating. Gold plating is said to increase mating and unmating cycles to 1,000 times. Measuring 10.2 mm high, the connectors come with two types of locking: snap locking and permanently attached, self-aligning screws on the plug and threaded inserts on the receptacle. Price is $6 per mated pair each/1,000. HIROSE ELECTRIC USA INC., Simi Valley, CA. (805) 522-7958.
