Fieldbus Cable System Is Plug-And-Play

Feb. 1, 2001

Promising system-wide, plug-and-play convenience, the Junction, Tee & Cable System is a fully connectorized fieldbus system that claims to allow a rapid changeover to a connectorized network. System components feature standardized minifast connectors that streamline change-over and maintenance procedures.
The junctions and cabling connect field devices to PLCs via a cable tray. The tees provide an NEC-compliant path in and out of the cable tray. The junction housing is rated NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 5, 12 and 13, and IP 65 and 66. And the cordsets are rated for IP 67 and NEMA 4.
