Interface Modules Contain Pluggable D-Sub Connectors

Oct. 1, 1998

Simplifying D-subminiature connector transition to individual wires, IDS modules offer pluggable terminal blocks that facilitate rapid system testing, shorter maintenance down time, and simplify construction when shipping splits. In standard 9- to 50-position D-subminature configurations, the modules mount on DIN rails or directly to panels. The interface modules also boast of six added component holes per circuit, with the plated through-holes allowing users to easily modify modules by adding electronic components. The 12 AWG terminal blocks are clearly marked to eliminate wiring errors. And custom marking, circuits and special connectors also are available.
