Eight-Bit Triple DAC Delivers 180 MHz Conversion Rate

Allegedly optimized for high-resolution computer and video applications, the FMS3818 eight-bit triple d/a converter performs conversions at rates up to 180 MHz. Built using a 0.35-µm CMOS process, it is the company's first such device optimized for 3.3V supplies. The converter's output is designed for systems that support XGA, SXGA, and UXGA resolutions. Additional features include power-down, double-buffered digital inputs, and an on-chip bandgap voltage reference. Operating temperature is from 0ûC to 70ûC.
