Interface Stations Can Talk With Multiple Devices

June 1, 1999

With the ability to communicate with multiple devices, Models 3000 and 3100 compact intelligent operator interface stations are NEMA 4 rated when panel mounted and are designed for tough factory environments. The stations can be controlled like PLCs in applications requiring operator input and prompting, process monitoring, and communication to other controls or process equipment. They can communicate to multiple serial devices, LANs, modems, PLCs, and motion controllers. OlBuild3000 software assists users in generating a complete program graphically in Windows point-and-click environments. Controlware Pro lets users create executable programs in ladder diagrams. When used together, the two software packages let users develop operator interface and scan logic code.
