Heaters Protect Components

Aug. 1, 1998

Employed to protect components when they are operating in temperature conditions below their normal operating range, Mercury heaters and heater fans can also be used to control condensation buildup and the resulting corrosion when equipment is shut down after use. The heater fans are said to provide a solution when larger heating capacities or internal forced air circulation is required. Thermostats can be used in conjunction with heaters and heater fans to maintain a constant temperature at all times, allowing components to perform with consistent reliability for longer periods of time. All units are DIN rail-mountable and range from 15W to 400W.
