A series of 5000-W, 3U and 5U plug-in dc-dc and ac-dc converter modules is available in three standard dc input range from 320 to 800 V, and 3-phase ac input voltages of 3 by 400 V ac, (320 to 460 V) and 3 by 480 V ac (400 to 530). The C5100 family has single outputs in six standard ranges from 23 to 200 V dc. All outputs are adjustable and fully regulated to 0.2% or better (load) and 0.1% (line). All versions feature remote sensing (up to 150 V output), over-voltage protection, and current-limit protection on the output. Efficiencies are up to 95% and operating temperatures available include ?20°C to 75°C and ?40°C to 75°C. The converters come in a 3U by 40 TE by 538-mm rack and incorporate CombiTec I/O connectors. They can be rotated for 5U mounting. Available options include decoupling diodes for parallel/redundant operation, ruggedization, inhibit, power-fail/dc-OK alarms, system reset, active current sharing, and programming.
