March 1, 1999

Touted as one of the first completely Web-enabled instruments, the HP 16600A and 16700A logic analysis systems have added Web-server capability for the purpose of remotely accessing and controlling measurement instrumentation. This capability allows users to access an HP logic analyzer from anywhere- over the Internet or through an intranet- using Version 4.0 or higher of Internet Explorer or Netscape Communicator browsers. The HP BenchLink XL software allows PC users to easily export data over a LAN from an HP logic analyzer to a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, simply by clicking on an icon in the Excel toolbar.
