Operating in conjunction with the Prado synthesis platform, the Picasso BOAS11-18 intellectual property (IP) with op amp engine is designed to synthesize customized, tape-out-ready operational amplifiers. Users can choose from ten different op amp topologies or architectures and produce designs in a matter of minutes, the company says. The op amp engine provides support for 0.18-µm CMOS processes and 10 unique single-ended topologies, targeting applications that require low noise, high gain, and loop bandwidths up to 1 GHz. Optimization objectives for the engine include power, unity gain, bandwidth, and size. For further information and pricing, contact BARCELONA DESIGN INC., Newark, CA. (510) 897-1800.
