Hirschmann Appoints Farnell As Worldwide Catalog Distributor

Catalog distribution will be the main area of focus for Farnell Electronic Components Ltd. in its new distribution pact with Hirschmann of America Inc., Riverdale, NJ. Farnell has been appointed as worldwide catalog distributor for Hirschmann and its line of industrial connectors and interconnection systems, including its new M8 (8 mm) connectors for sensor applications. The agreement fulfills part of Hirschmann's objective to expand the availability of its product line in both the American and Asian markets. Under terms of the pact, Farnell will provide catalog distribution of Hirschmann connectors through its global network of sales and service centers that provide customer access and response 24 hour a day.
