Demodulator Meets ETSI Specs

The 5610 COFDM demodulator is FEC-compliant to ETSI specifications for European digital terrestrial television broadcast (DVB-T). The device offers A/D conversion at an IF input frequency of 4.57 MHz and provides complete processing of COFDM modulated signals. It includes frequency and time acquisition, 2K and 8K FFT, pilot processing and channel equalization, and OFDM demodulation. The design also includes options for status monitoring and control and external tuner module via a I2C or three-wire pass through. The devices are available in an 80-pin MQFP and are priced at $17 each/10,000.
