March 1, 2002

Designed as a low-cost alternative to 0.25 x 0.032 tab connections, the Faston connector is suitable for applications with few mating/unmating cycles and those with limited current switching or cycling requirements. It features an insulated wire barrel that provides wire strain relief. Insulation is PVC, the terminal body is tin-plated brass, and the wire support sleeve is tin-plated copper. The connector is available in three wire ranges: 22 to 18 AWG, 16 to 14 AWG, and 12 to 10 AWG. For further information and prices, call TYCO ELECTRONICS, Harrisburg, PA. (800) 522-6752.
