Wire harness design can become easier by integrating Altair Engineering's HarnessLink design tools and Ansoft's Simplorer simulator. HarnessLink brings to the table sophisticated data management, while Simplorer offers a fast and efficient analysis engine. Together, the tools allow sizing and validation of vehicular electrical systems and identification of design tradeoffs through fast "what-if" iterations.
