New double-speed fibre channel and gigabit Ethernet cable assemblies operate at speeds of 2.1 and 2.5 Gbits/s between computer peripherals. Said to be cost effective, these cable assemblies employ high-speed interconnects and are fully tested to exceed T11 standards.
