Cable/Harness Tester Accepts Multiple Adapter Cards

June 1, 2000

The TestMate microprocessor-based continuity tester provides a universal interface fixture that accepts multiple adapter cards with connectors configured to match the customer's connectors. The interface fixture is a pair of parallel linear connectors running the length of the interface and adapter cards are end-stacked along their length. The TestMate automatically tests up to 128 points, up to 256 points with an optional expansion unit, in a few seconds. Test programs can be learned from a sample harness or programmed from a PC using optional software. A 128-point unit costs $995 and the 128-point expansion unit costs $495.
