Electrical Safety Analyzers Test To European Norms

Nov. 1, 1998

A 500 VA multi-function electrical safety compliance analyzer with a standard RS-232 interface, Model 7500DT three-in-one and Model 7504SA four-in-one instruments are well-suited for testing to European Norms, such as the Machinery Directive EN 60204, as well as UL, CSA, IEC, VDE, TUV and other safety agency specifications. The instruments' test functions include ac hipot, dc hipot, insulation resistance, and ground bond (impedance). Two additional separate external scanners can be used to give users both high voltage and 16 high current ports to perform multi-product or multi-point testing to speed throughput. These 500-VA versions of the firm's HypotULTRA II and QUADCHEK II let users meet the special requirements of testing products that are highly capacitive or to meet the needs of products shipping to Europe.
