Connectors Target 100BaseT/ATM High-Speed Category-5 Applications

Claiming to exceed 100BaseT/ATM Category-5 crosstalk specifications by up to 20 dB is the 155 Performance Series of RJ-45 connectors. The connectors' near-end crosstalk rejection is up to 10 dB better than Category-5 specs for Ethernet, and up to 20 dB better than Category-5 specs for ATM use. The series is available with an optional gasket for demanding EMC environments.The gasket adds 10 db more attenuation than the tab version to handle tough impedance/EMC problems.
