Touch-Screens Work With Many Controllers

Jan. 1, 2000

The TouchTek5 resistive touch-screens represent a new generation of 5-wire units that plug into all leading 5-wire resistive touch-screen controllers. Intended for OEM uses in the retail, industrial, hospitality and medical arenas, the screens are said to feature the industry’s best durability and optics. They’re complemented by the firm’s serial controller and optional controller chipset. The TouchTek5 screens free OEMs from being tied to a single touch-screen vendor’s electronics package. They enable users to replace touch-screens in their current products without having to modify those products’ designs.
