Sealed, Metal-Housed Switches Improved

July 1, 1999

V9N miniature single-pole switches are sealed and pressure tested and have increased overtravel, improved wiring capabilities, and a wider range of lever actuators compared to the original V9 switches. Versions are available with a 3 mm contact gap snap-action switch to meet European requirements and a positive-action, forced-break switch for safety applications, as well as a micro-gap snap-action switch. The moving contact is silver and the fixed contacts are silver cadmium oxide. Ratings are 10A at 125 vac or 10A at 250 vac resistive load, and 15A at 15 vdc or 0.25A at 250 vdc resistive load.
