Variable Attenuator Connector Can Be Locked

Sept. 1, 1998

Preventing any drift in a high shock and vibration environment, this line of locking VACs (variable attenuator connectors) maintain a 0 to 30 dB range with less than 0.1 dB resolution and a greater than -60 dB RL. The proprietary design replaces the need for separate and discrete in-line, bulkhead type attenuators. The VAC is easily terminated using standard connector termination tools and processes. ST, FC and SC (PC and APC) style VACs unterminated or as cable assemblies are available.
