Multi-Layer Bus Bars Replace Wire Harnesses

Sept. 1, 1998

Users tired of the hassles and headaches associated with wiring errors can turn to the firm's custom laminated multi-layer bus bars, which replace bulky wire harnesses and eliminate wiring errors while distributing power in a telecommunications cabinet. Capacitors, circuit breakers, and connectors are simultaneously integrated in one simple bus-bar scheme, it's claimed. A thin dielectric insulates the outer and inner copper layers while epoxy is used to hermetically seal the side of the conductors.
