Ease of operation, high security, and consistent compression along the entire edge of where an enclosure and its door meet are all promised by the Multi-point Latching System (at left in photo). The system together with the Lift-handle Actuator (right in photo) enable enclosures to meet NEMA 4 and IP-66 specs for sealing, as well as EMI specs for shielding effectiveness at a minimum of 42 dB from 1 MHz to 2 GHz. While allowing designers to position as many latches as needed along the door to provide consistent, 5-mm compression along the entire door's edge, Multi-point Latching System can drive the latches from just one point using the Lift-handle Actuator- the tamper-resistant actuator can be operated in one single lifting motion.
