Speaker's Audio Output Belies Its Size

June 1, 1999

Particularly well suited for use in laptop computers and point-of-sale (POS) terminals, the KDS-4028008-10 speaker can deliver 83 ±3dB of sound over a 0-to-15-kHz frequency range. And it can accomplish this in a unit measuring only 22.5 mm wide x 34.0 mm long x 9.5 mm deep and weighing a miniscule 11.3 grams. Other features of the speaker include an impedance of 8 ohms ±15% with an input of 1W and an operating temperature range of -20°C to 60°C.
