Coaxial Connectors Provide Positive Mating

Aug. 1, 1999

The 1.0/2.3 series Coaxial Connectors have a threaded coupling to provide positive mating in applications such as base stations, cable assemblies, telecomm, datacomm, routers and switching equipment. The series offers push-pull coupling with proprietary locking mechanism, gold and nickel finish, low insertion force less than 10N, crimp center and outer ferrule for fast installation, rugged design for more than 500 mating cycles, and PCB connector with press fit compliant pins to eliminate soldering. Connectors have an impedance of 50 ohms, operation from 0 to 10 GHz, and VSWR of 1.3:1 up to 4 GHz.
