Designed for use in 3.3 and 5.0 vdc circuits, Type 07-coded 4-position rotary switches feature hermetically-sealed hard gold plated contacts which virtually eliminate the possibility of oxidation- contact oxidation is said to be the primary failure mode for switches that see infrequent use, because the contact wiper doesn't wipe the oxidation buildup off the contact surfaces.
