Four-Slot PXI/cPCI Chassis Has Space Conscious Design

Jan. 1, 2000

The size of measurement and automation is said to be reduced with the PXI-1002 four-slot PXI/Compact PCI chassis, which can harbor three peripheral PXI/cPCI modules and an embedded controller or the firm’s new MXI-3 remote controller. Half the size of a standard 8-slot chassis, it incorporates all features defined by CompactPCI and PXI specifications, including a rugged, modular construction, integrated cooling, and a high-performance backplane with integrated timing and triggering features. The chassis is suited for engineers, scientists, and systems integrators seeking a small, affordable and powerful platform for test and measurement, data acquisition and industrial automation applications.
