Mini Circular Connectors & Splices Survive Harsh Environment

Feb. 1, 2000

These lightweight, water-resistant miniature circular connectors and splices are designed to provide a secure electrical interconnection in harsh environments, such as off-road vehicles, marine systems, and a wide range of processing and other industrial applications. The connector/splices are available in various sizes and in three polarizing positions. Polarizing and keying between the plug and receptacle is accomplished by means of keying features molded into the plug and receptacle housing. This design makes it possible to accidentally mate plugs and receptacles of different polarities. Each polarizing option is clearly identified by the connector/splice's particular shell color of red, white or blue. Only like color plugs and receptacles can be mated.
